The first of its kind search and rescue product.
Current waterfront rescue methods are archaic, slow to deploy and prone to error. Water clarity makes waterfront rescue extremely difficult and time consuming, and in rescue, every second counts.
AquaEye® uses the latest in ultrasound and artificial intelligence technologies to identify human bodies underwater.
AquaEye enables rescuers to quickly assess a scene and identify potential victims within seconds of entering the water. AquaEye is an advanced hand-held underwater sonar device developed by VodaSafe Inc and it changes everything, with the potential to save hundreds more lives each year.
AquaEye is easy to use, portable, and only requires one rescuer to operate. It displays a visual representation of the search area within seconds, allowing users to locate their victims immediately.
Durability is something that was important to us while developing AquaEye as it needs to thrive in real world conditions. Rescuers operate in all weather and in unpredictable environments and their equipment must do the same.
In water rescue, every second counts, which is why AquaEye is designed for grab and go situations. It will operate continuously for 8 hours before requiring a recharge and can operate on standby for over 2 months making it always ready for use.
AquaEye located a victim in minutes when conventional methods had failed.
“We have used AquaEye in a recovery situation in which we were able to help bring closure to a family in a matter of minutes. In our opinion, AquaEye will not only help many families but also keep those willing to sacrifice themselves to help bring our loved one’s home, safer.” Mike Fugate, Founder of The BMF Project in Texas.
VodaSafe was born from the intersection of engineering and lifeguarding on the West Coast of Canada. We aim to save lives and bring closure to families sooner, and with our first product AquaEye, we are modernizing water rescue.
